Fun in the Summertime

Hi all

Many of my dear friends out there are talking about their vacations, graduations and good times at the beach. Already wanting their slideshows.

Most of you have great ideas when it comes to the song choices for your particular slideshow event. You are getting more creative and selective in what you want in your iMovie or slideshow and that is great.

Everyone enjoy the rest of the summer.

Bright Blessings to all,

Football Fans

Hey football fans, another great idea has come our way!

For those who want to have a fun video, slide show or iMovie of your football party, send it over and we can put a fun package together for you to remember this fun day. This can also be done to sound effects not just music. This might be the right time to use sound effects.

Keep the ideas coming folks!

Hope you are enjoying the journey friends.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

The holidays have come to a close and a new year has begun. Some of you have suggested that you collect all of your friends pictures/videos around the world of their New Years experiences. After the total collection and editing, put it to everyones favorite song. This can be copied in multiple DVD's and each of your friends would have pictures of you and your sights, sounds and surroundings of you bringing in the new year as well as theirs. Novel idea.

Cheers to a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

Halloween Party Videos/photos

Greetings Friends,

Hope all of you had a fun halloween, I know mine was enjoyable. Nothing like candy apples, trick or treaters and some scary movies on the television.

For those of you who had a fun halloween party at work or your house-lets put it to an iMovie or slideshow and enjoy it for many years to come.

The kids grow up so fast and to capture their special holiday moments is priceless.

Any other ideas on iMovie or slideshow are welcomed! We have more holidays coming up, so get the camera and video cam ready.

Blessings to all

Great ideas for holiday gifts!

Greetings Friends,

I have received more great holiday gift ideas from you all and must share. Some of you have suggested iMovie Greeting CD's done up this year instead of Christmas cards. Singing christmas songs or having a christmas cheer can be a great idea.

Also, some have suggested doing a photo collage (slideshow) of you and your family this past year; instead of the proverbial Christmas letter as to how the kids are a year older and their respective sporting events in school. Of course added to a favorite holiday song of your choice. This can be done on a DVD, CD or a shared weblink.

The other ideas were taking photo's of family members from holiday gatherings in the past and making an iMovie as a Christmas gift.

Keep the ideas coming and we will share!

Hurricane Katrina

Greetings Friends,

I must say that the phrase a picture is worth a 1000 words is an under statement for what is happening in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We are here and we do care.

I have personally donated to the American Red Cross and I am asking all my fellow friends out there, near and far to do the same.

We Learn That...

I got this quote from a friend and decided it was a good one and I wanted to share it for todays Weblog.

"As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't

supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart

broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break

hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight

with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one

did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually

lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and

love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend

upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back."

Eye of the Beholder

Greetings all,

As I get more into my work here, I am so amazed (and loving it) at the difference of opinions, when it comes to viewing the edited and final cut version of a video i.e graduation or birthday.

As I was putting together one of my family members graduation videos, she had mentioned she did not want anything that was "dorky". I understood her point of view being 18 and sharing this video with her friends as well as family. Her idea of a fun graduation video was with her kind of music of her generation and more photos of her and her friends together, versus photos of her in diapers to her current age of 18.

I was able to watch the video with her and the family and it amazes me how every single person has a totally different opinion of the outcome of the video. Some think it's quite humorous while others find it very touching.

So I share with you all, any video you view on my showcase, is thru the "eyes of the beholder". It is personalized and customized to their likes and desires. From the music, to special effects and even titles. That is what makes it so special.
